PATRICK GLOVER

I have always been intrigued by the ambiguity of perception. I am attracted to art that blurs edges and that redefines relationships and boundaries, in both visual and conceptual terms. I choose imagery that is mostly taken for granted; impersonal imagery that has a predictable appearance, standardized use, meaning or context. I attempt to present that imagery in ways that can encourage individual viewers to question perceptual biases and create their own narratives.
